Dr. Courtney Iverson

Dr. Courtney Iverson fell in love with horses at a young age and grew up riding and showing hunter/jumpers since 1999. Her own experience nursing her horse through an injury inspired her interest in veterinary medicine. She graduated from Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2015. Where she focused her studies on equine medicine. She then completed a rotating internship through the hospital and ambulatory setting at Fairfield Equine Associates where she was able to hone her skills in sports medicine. She has been practicing in the Chicagoland area since 2016. Her interests are in sports medicine and rehabilitation as well as internal medicine. She recently became a Certified Equine Rehabilitation Practitioner (CERP) through the Chi Institute in 2019, and is a member of AAEP, ISELP, and AARV.
In her free time, Dr. Iverson enjoys running, riding her horses Vegas and Fierra, and spending time with her family.
